“Baltoscandia 2016”, the first expedition of the trek across the world “Mission Lithuania 100”, launches on 30th of July 2016. The Wanderers Club’s partners in organizing this trek are the Lithuanian Geographical Society, Baltoscandian Academy and the Travel and Recreation club of the Lithuanian Journalists Union.
The main goals of the expedition are to introduce professor Kazys Pakštas and his ideas of Baltoscandia, as well as the project “Mission Lithuania 100” in university conferences, and to meet Lithuanian communities in the countries visited. An equally important objective is to test technological base of the trek, especially communication technologies.
